I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as President of NIKA  and N Ireland National Karate Coach. Firstly, I am delighted to be part of NIKA and working and developing students with thier Karate, fitness, discipline, respect, motivation,nutritioanl education and more importanlty confidence. Over the years NIKA have helped so many junior and seniors learn and develop.  I look forward to working with you all in 2015.  I aim to achieve more 2014, which was a very successful year !

I have over 28 years experience in karate, 20 years I have been in coaching. I believe it is extremely important for a National Coach to have experience of successfully competing at both local and international level in both Kata and Kumite.

A brief background of my achievements throught the years is as follows:

  • World Karate kata Champion 2014, Argentina

  • World silver medalist Karate Champion 2014, Argentina.

  • Draw for  world K1 kickboxing Title Sept 2014 Ulster hall

  • European Full contact kickboxing Champion, March 2015.

  • World title Eliminator fight May 2015.

  • Northern Ireland, Ulster & Belfast kumite Champion, 10 consecutive years

  • N. Ireland, Ulster & Carlow Kata Champion 7 consecutive years.

  • European Senior Ladies Kumite bronze medallist twice (Austria)

  • World Senior Ladies Kumite bronze medallist twice (Brazil & Serbia).

  • World Senior Ladies Champion, Gold Medallist (Kata) Serbia.2005

  • World Senior ladies Kata Champion Argentina 2014

  • World senior Ladies Kumite Silver medallist 2014

  • Belfast Sports Coach of the year 2013

  • Celtic & Brittish full contact Kickboxing champion 2005.
